What’s the timeline for the OT compact to issue privileges to practice?

While the OT compact is not yet issuing compact privileges to practice, the American Occupational Therapy Association and other OTC commission members predict compact privileges to begin mid-2025 (between June and August).

What do I need to apply for the occupational therapy licensure compact?

The most important requirements to join the OT compact are to hold a valid OTA or OT license in a member state and be in good standing. Additionally, you must have a Social Security Number or a National Provider Identifier, pass an FBI fingerprint-based criminal background check, and pay any fees for the compact license.
