CSM_blog_header_1250x834_PMS3435C_nocropThe American Physical Therapy Association is ready to throw the biggest Physical Therapy party of the year. Combined Sessions Meeting – CSM for short – is just around the corner, taking place from February 12-14 in Anaheim, California this year.

The conference includes 90-minute educational sessions tackling topics like Leadership and Innovation, Clinical Electro and Wound Management, Aquatics and so much more. It’s a great place to meet your fellow PTs, learn about topics you’re interested in, and get to know some of the coolest recruiters in the game.

Speaking of the coolest recruiters in the game…. they’ll beat Booth 313. Keep reading to learn the most important information about said recruiters.

Peggy Novotny

A_preferred

Peggy has been working as a recruiter with Fusion for nearly seven years, so she’s a real pro when it comes to knowing how to take care of her travelers.

Fun facts about Peggy:

  • Her first job was sweeping hair at an Omaha hair salon called Garbo’s.
  • Her top Spotify artist in 2025 was pop punk’s favorite redhead, Hayley Williams.

Peggy wants you to know she and the rest of Fusion will be there for you through all the ups and the downs of travel life.

“It can be intimidating moving away from family and friends to an entirely new place with new people,” said Peggy. “The good thing is that you have a whole network of people behind you at Fusion. You have me to help with anything, you have a Client Manager to help advocate at the facility, you have an experienced compliance specialist team to help with all your onboarding, and a clinical team to stand by with any patient care scenarios that may come up. Even though you might be branching out on your own, you aren’t alone when you’re traveling. 😊

Noah Bradley

Noah Bradley

Noah has been rockin’ with Fusion for four years, but he’s special around here because he spent nine years before Fusion as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Fun facts about Noah:

  • His first job was mowing lawns and painting houses for a property manager.
  • His top Spotify artist in 2025 was Fame on Fire.

Noah wants you to know that being detail-oriented is the move when you’re considering taking an assignment.

“Try to get as many details as possible about a position you’re interested in. No question is a bad question. If your recruiter doesn’t have the answer before submitting, use them to help with the right questions to ask in the interview with the client.”

MacKenzie Pickett

MacKenzie Pickett

MacKenzie has been at Fusion for seven years, and she recently won Fusion’s Customer Experience Champion award for providing excellent customer service to her travelers.

Fun facts about MacKenzie:

  • Her first job was working as a sales representative at American Eagle Outfitters.
  • She has commitment issues when it comes to her top music artists, but you can regularly catch her jamming to 80s, 90s and Today’s Country playlists.

MacKenzie is known to her travelers as a true friend who wants to see them succeed.

“I have your back, always,” she said. “Whether you need advice, a listening ear, help problem-solving, or someone to hype you up on a rough day… I’m your gal! You are not in this alone! Ask the questions. Speak up. Lean on me. That’s what I’m here for!”

Macy Wilson

Macy Williams 2

Macy has been connecting with travelers at Fusion for two years, and has made quick work of making an impact on her teammates and the travelers she works with.

Fun facts about Macy:

  • She has the most amount of patience because her first job was teaching dance to up-and-coming dancers. Toddlers, to be specific.
  • She goes above and beyond when it comes to her top Spotify artist. Her’s was a three-way tie in 2025 between Caamp, The Lumineers and Zach Bryan.

Macy wants all of her travelers to know that fluidity is the key to success in your travel career, and she wants to make sure you reach that success.

“I want all travelers to remember that preparation and flexibility truly make all the difference,” she said. “Make sure you ask your recruiter (hopefully me!) questions up front and keep an open mind because every assignment is different.”

Don’t they seem like the coolest?! They’re excited to meet you, and they hope the feeling is mutual. Just remember Booth 313! We’ll be tough to miss! See you soon 😊
