One of the ways the ASA brings that mission to life is through its annual National Staffing Employee of the Year program, which celebrates temporary and contract employees with inspiring stories. The program shines a light on individuals who embody the very best of staffing, and Alechia is one of just nine finalists to be recognized in the U.S.

Meet Alechia Randle, CNA, Fusion’s All-Star Finalist

Born and raised in Louisiana, Alechia has always carried her southern hospitality and family-first spirit wherever she goes. With more than 14 years of healthcare experience, Alechia’s built a diverse career that includes community-based support, leadership roles, and traveling as a CNA.

What started as a journey alongside a friend turned into a passion for serving patients across the country — a path that’s led her to being named an All-Star Finalist in the American Staffing Association’s 2025 National Staffing Employee of the Year program.

“I chose to be a travel healthcare professional because I want to make sure I am always serving people in populations that need extra help,” Alechia shared. “Being that I’m driven by my desire to help others, I knew that this would fit my career path, and Fusion has supported my growth by taking a serious interest in my career. My recruiter, Brandi, offers total transparency, advocates for me, and advises on contracts that best fit my career path.”

For Alechia, caring for others isn’t work — it’s part of who she is. And that’s obvious not only from the way she lights up when she’s connecting with her patients, whether she’s combing someone’s hair, sharing a riddle, or listening to a story that brings a smile, but also in the compassion she shares with every person she encounters.

“If I’m the highlight of someone’s day, I want to make that time memorable and build stronger and better bonds with them,” Alechia said.

Being recognized as an ASA All-Star Finalist has been a gamechanger for Alechia, filling her with a renewed sense of pride and fulfillment. She said, “[This honor] has boosted my self-confidence and makes me feel like my contributions are truly valued!”

The reporter expressed a deep appreciation for Alechia because she had taken excellent care of the reporter’s mother during her final days in hospice care. We are so grateful for Alechia and just so proud to have someone like her on our team.”
