They say time flies when you’re having fun — and as cliché as it is, there may be some truth to it because somehow, after a blink of an eye, it’s been 15 years since we opened our doors for business.  

While we’ve grown and changed throughout the years, things that have stayed (and always will stay) the same are our commitment to and appreciation for you! The truth is, there is no us without you. From the compassionate care you show your patients to being an inspiration of excellence, the reason we’re able to fulfill our mission of improving lives is thanks to you.

Humble beginnings 

2009 was a vibe. And for us, it was just the beginning.  

Picture this: five employees crammed in a barebones basement office imagining, strategizing, and planning how to enhance the travel healthcare system. They had the vision, insight, and experience to bring their solution to life — the only thing that was missing was heat.  

But working out of a heatless basement in the middle of a Midwestern winter didn’t stop them. It was here where they asked themselves and each other, “How can we improve the lives of everyone we touch?” Quickly, that question became a mantra and then blossomed into the mission for Fusion Medical Staffing.  

“That core purpose is what keeps us grounded and moving in the right direction,” said Founder Sam Wageman. “From day one, we’ve always believed in the importance of working hard and staying true to our core values. It’s not what we do, but how and why we do it.”

When we say we live to improve the lives of everyone we touch, that extends into each community we’re part of. Expanding past our corporate headquarters to nationwide facility locations to countless travelers across the U.S., we are proud to have a growing ecosystem of change-makers in our communities.

Looking ahead at what’s next 

We won’t lie, we don’t know for certain what the future holds. But we do know that we won’t ever stop learning and growing for you.  

“The last 15 years have been an incredible journey for our team,” said Corey. “As we move forward, we are remembering the hard work, humility, and positive attitudes that got us here so we can keep working to improve the lives of everyone we touch.”

“We are only going to continue to raise the bar when it comes to how we support you,” said Corey. “We’ve determined that we’ve got a few holes in our game, and we need to shore those up. And those are all to benefit you. We think we’re the best agency in this space but there’s always room for improvement.”
